WNS launches ‘Centurion’

WNS, a global leader in Business Process Management is launching ‘Centurion’, a talent management program aimed at nurturing home grown talent in to future women leaders.

The Centurion program is an initiative of Keshav R. Murugesh, CEO of WNS (Holdings) Ltd. The two year program aims to develop leadership skills among women employees and improve the participation of women in senior leadership roles. Developed and facilitated by a panel of experienced industry leaders, the program comprises a multi-faceted development intervention to gain:

• Academic advantage through virtual classes and certification from the Indian Institute of Management, India, a globally known premium business school, and similar internationally renowned partner universities.

• An accelerated learning curve enhanced with roles and responsibilities and customised projects/ assignments.

• On-the-job learning to enrich and equip them to work in different work streams aligned to the road map.

• Mentoring by WNS leadership as they take on challenging roles and guidance during the entire talent management programme.

At the end of the two years, based on the role reediness assessment and the completion of the journey, Centurions will be absorbed in to business/ critical senior leadership roles.

The inauguration event of the Centurion program was held in Mumbai, India on 03rd October, followed by a two week orientation program.

Thiloshi Ranasinghe, Nisanga Perera, Inakshi Perera, and Sangeetha Jayaraj will represent WNS Sri Lanka in this event.

Dinesh Wickremanayake, the Managing Director of WNS Sri Lanka said, “The program will see four of our best female employees take on an intensive development program over 24 months. In my view developing our next generation of senior leadership is critical, accordingly it is a timely initiative that will result in the nominated group of talented female employees taking on future leadership roles in our growing organization.”
