Organised by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (AICPA & CIMA), and the International Chamber of Commerce Sri Lanka (ICCSL), the ranking serves as a platform for recognising Sri Lankan companies that create lasting value for stakeholders and inspire corporate excellence.
The chief guest was Secretary to the President, Saman Ekanayake while the keynote speech was delivered by Deputy Head of Mission for Japan in Sri Lanka, Katsuki Kotaro.
“In the face of formidable local and global economic challenges, HNB’s reaffirmation as one of Sri Lanka’s Most Admired Companies speaks volumes of our team’s values and unwavering dedication, as well as the strong and resilient foundation of operational excellence and good governance which HNB has continuously consolidated.
HNB Managing Director and CEO Jonathan Alles said, “Combined with HNB’s relentless refinement of our product and service portfolio, we are now leveraging cutting edge technology and partnerships with key stakeholders to further scale up support to customers, and help lead a grassroots rejuvenation of the Sri Lankan economy.” Open to both listed and unlisted companies, selected applicants undergo a stringent evaluation process, including a Financial Evaluation done by a team of CIMA members (CGMAs), after which the KPMG team, acting as the Assurance Partners for the awards, ratifies the scoring and selected the Top 20 organisations for the next round. The final round includes a presentation by the companies, usually with the attendance of their top management, to the panel of judges.
