The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce (CCC) and the Sri Lanka Retail Association (SLRA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding to collaborate on organising the Sri Lanka Retail Forum 2023 on October 19 at the Cinnamon Lakeside Hotel.
The Sri Lanka Retail Forum brings together the most influential players in Sri Lanka’s retail industry.
This year’s forum on the theme “Sparking Success: Reigniting the Flame of Retail Growth”, aims to shed light on the emerging trends in the retail sector, locally and globally. It will also explore innovative strategies to enhance retail operations and consumer reach.
The Forum’s primary objectives will centre on identifying current industry challenges, sharing innovative best practices, and spotlighting key turning points. Exploring these issues in depth and from the diverse perspectives of industry stakeholders will provide businesses with valuable insights to navigate the evolving landscape.
Participants will also hear from national and international industry leaders, on how best to leverage emerging international trends in the local context.
The forum will also highlight critical opportunities for Sri Lankan retailers to capitalise on and key challenges that need to be addressed for sustainable growth, while offering a platform for networking and fostering collaborations that will facilitate the implementation of these strategies.
The forum is expected to attract a diverse audience of industry professionals, and thought leaders from across Sri Lanka and overseas.
