A diplomat who contributed profoundly to bring Chinese investors to Sri Lanka and made an impressive contribution in strengthening the bilateral relationship between China and Sri Lanka, Sri Lanka’s Ambassador to China, Dr. Palitha Kohona has announced the ending of his successful tenure from China.
A farewell banquet to Dr. Kohona was hosted by Vice Minister of China, Sun Weidong at the Hutong (courtyard residence in old Beijing). The Vice Minister waxed eloquent on Ambassador Kohona’s work and wished him well.
