Ambassador of Palestine to Sri Lanka Dr. Zuhair M. H. Zaid met State Minister of Tourism, Diana Gamage at the State Tourism Ministry at the Suhurupaya Administrative Complex on Thursday and promised to promote tourism. He also sought to explore the possibility of establishing direct air links between the two countries.
The Ambassador of Palestine also highlighted the long history of cooperation between Palestine and Sri Lanka and the support they have extended to development of the tourism sector in Sri Lanka.
Private Secretary to State Minister of Tourism, Dr. Arosha Fernando, the Parliament Secretary of State Minister of Tourism Lahiru Anushka and the Media Secretary of the State Tourism Ministry Niranjan De Alwis were also present.
