99x emerged Overall Gold winner at the Best Management Practices Awards 2023 organised by the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka (CPM Sri Lanka).
99x also won the Sector Award in the IT & BPO Services category. Over 40 companies participated in the competition, which was aimed at identifying and sharing best business managementpractices. The awards endorse best practices in areas including leadership, policies and strategies, risk management, people management, resource management and process improvement.
The Top Five ranked companies were invited to present their best practice at a special session within the CPM Sri Lanka Conference “Rebooting Management; Reimagine and Redesign” held recently. Other companiesranked in the Top 5 included Ansell Lanka, LOLC Finance, DFCC Bank and Elpitiya Plantations.
Founder and CEO of 99x, Mano Sekaram said, “We are delighted to be recognised with this award for our Global Sourcing best practice. 2022 was a challenging year for us all and we put in so much extra effort to explore alternate strategies and contingency planning. We are pleased to see our focus recognised this way”.

Director of the Institute of Chartered Professional Managers of Sri Lanka, Dilshan Arsakularathna said, “99x Technology won this year’s Overall Gold Winner award of the Best Management Practices company awards, because they satisfied the judges in every aspect of their submission. In their presentation, the judges saw the length which they go in providing their services to customers”.
