
The Sri Lanka-Bangladesh Business Co-operation Council of the National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka is organising bilateral trade and investment discussion between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh on Thursday, November 24, from 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 noon at the National Chamber auditorium, Colombo 10.
High Commissioner of Bangladesh to Sri Lanka, Tareq Ariful Islam will be the guest speaker and the session will be assisted by Counsellor (Political) Reyad Hossain.
The overall purpose of this meeting is to discuss the current trade environment, investment opportunities and services, policies and other important information to promote and strengthen bilateral trade and investment between Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.
Sri Lanka’s major exports to Bangladesh: Electrical machinery and equipment and parts, plastics, knitted or crocheted fabrics, special woven fabrics, aluminium, iron and steel, wadding, felt and nonwovens special yarns, man-made filaments, soap, cotton, cartons, boxes, cases bags and other packing containers, paper or paperboard labels.
