The Daraz drone show, the first-ever drone light show in Sri Lanka, illuminated the Colombo night sky with over 150 drones on January 22-23 at Galle Face Green, in celebration of Daraz’s global rebranding.
Followed by an evening of music, food, and entertainment, the event saw the presence of over 10,000 people from across the island to witness the spectacular choreography that revealed the new Daraz logo to the public.
The drone show was launched by Minister of Youth and Sports Hon.Namal Rajapaksaand attended by State Minister of Aviation and Export Zones Development D.V. Chanaka, Mr. and Mrs. Abeywickrama – Director General of Civil Aviation, Mr. and Mrs. Fernando – Director of Aircraft Operations Civil aviation authority,and the media. Daraz hosted the event in partnership with Dubai-based double Guinness World Record holder, SKD International.
