The eligible depositors and legal beneficiaries of eligible deposits of Swarnamahal Financial Services PLC (SFSP) are being paid additional compensation under the Sri Lanka Deposit Insurance and Liquidity Support Scheme. The payments commenced at People’s Bank branches on May 10. The depositors are advised to avoid gathering in large numbers at the Bank premises and to strictly comply with health guidelines.
