Showcasing the latest technology and experiences available for digital entertainment enthusiasts, Play Expo Sri Lanka, one of the first digital entertainment and technology expos in Sri Lanka was held at the SLECC.
The three-day exhibition organized by Gamer.LK, a leader in eSports and Digital Entertainment experiences, and powered by Dialog Gaming drew a large number of stallholders and visitors. The expo catered to anyone interested in audio, video, music, movies, gaming and their related technologies.
Play Expo 2017 began with the opening ceremony featuring the first match of the Sri Lanka Cyber Games which was held for the tenth consecutive year.
The ceremony was attended by representatives from many leading brands and service providers who came forward to support Play Expo. The Colombo Comic Expo, celebrating geek culture in the country, featuring the largest Cosplay competition, numerous panel discussions and artist showcase panels were also held at the expo.
Play Expo saw the participation of global technology and entertainment brands such as Razer, which launched their products officially in Sri Lanka and had an exclusive experience zone at the expo.
Leading multinational companies such as Dialog Gaming who are reputed for their fast, low latency connections powered Play Expo and also had their experience zones showcasing their entire lineup of digital entertainment products and services.

Play Expo 2018 will be held on the 7th, 8th and 9th of December 2018.
Red Bull was the official Energy Drink for the event with Honda partnering up to be the Motorbike Partner for the second consecutive year while also giving away a Honda Navi to the winner of their mobile game Rider Rush at their stall. In addition, they also had a test ride for visitors to try out the Navi bike at the expo.
