
Indian Ambassador to Kuwait, Adarsh Swaika visited Speaker of the National Assembly of the State of Kuwait, Ahmed Al-Sadoun to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries last week.
“An honour to call on the Speaker of the National Assembly of the State of Kuwait H.E. Ahmed Al-Sadoun. Apprised him of the state and prospects of bilateral relations between the two countries,” Swaika Tweeted.
The two had a fruitful follow-up conversation in which they talked about the potential for Kuwait to make bigger investments given the expanding Indian economy. Swaika also visited Kuwait’s Minister of Commerce, Mohd Othman Al Aiban, and apprised him of the expanding trend in bilateral trade between the two nations.
He also apprised Sheikh Ahmed Abdullah Jaber Al-Sabah, Chief of the Crown Prince’s Diwan about the growing cooperation and the prospects for future bilateral ties in July. The position of India’s Ambassador to Kuwait was given to Adarsh Swaika, a joint secretary in the Ministry of External Affairs, in October 2022.
