The “Invest Sri Lanka” investor forum, organised by the Colombo Stock Exchange (CSE) in association with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), was held at the Taj Coromandel Hotel in Chennai on August 9.
The forum made a strong case for investment flows into Sri Lanka.
The forum was well received by the audience, which praised the organising parties and the speakers for their efforts to put on such an event during the economic recovery process. Around 180 investors from multiple industries across India were present. State Minister of Finance, Shehan Semasinghe was the keynote speaker at the forum. State Minister of Home Affairs Ashoka Priyantha, and Sri Lanka Deputy High Commission in Chennai Dr. D. Venkateshwaran were also present.
