Regional Portfolio Manager at Softlogic Life, Sajeewa Pushpitha has been awarded the title of ‘Insurance Agent of the Year’ at the eighth Asia Trusted Life Agents and Advisers Awards at the Park Royal Collection Marina Bay in Singapore recently.
After being nominated among the top five finalists in the category for three consecutive years, Pushpitha overcame strong challenges from a star-studded field of agents across Asia, all hailing from Multi-National Companies and his exceptional dedication and performance earned him the ultimate recognition in the highly competitive insurance sphere in Asia, making him the winner from the only local company among the finalists.
Jointly organised by Asia Insurance Review, Asia Advisors Network and LIMRA, this year’s competition resulted in 77 finalists from 14 markets and 38 companies across Asia.
