Managing Director, Design Consortium International (Pvt) Ltd (DCL), Migara Alwis (Rtn PHF) was installed as the 95th President of the Rotary Club of Colombo at Colombo Hilton recently.
Archt. Rtn. Migara is the power behind the well-known architectural consortium DCL.
After completing his postgraduate studies at the age of 23 in UK, Migara joined his father Prof. Lakshman Alwis at Design Consortium Limited and helped to convert it as one of the largest multi-disciplinary Architectural Consultancy in Sri Lanka.
Director, DCL Migara has completed many successful projects at Design Consortium Limited from multi-storeyed office buildings to purpose built large Factories, Showrooms and Residences Migara is a second generation Rotarian. His father Prof. Lakshman Alwis was the President in 1996.
