The UK has been in the spotlight for students looking to study abroad and immerse in diverse educational and cultural experiences.
The country continues to offer incentives, scholarships, and friendly visa policies to attract students. Over 430,000 international students from over 180 countries are currently studying in the UK.
The Pearson Test of English (PTE) conducted by the Pearson company can help one to start his or her journey to the UK, a spokesperson for the company said.
The PTE Academic test is recognised by over 3,000 universities, colleges, and professional bodies worldwide, including 99% of UK institutions.
Director, Campus Direct, Amrith Weerasekera said, “With increasing global recognition, PTE is a reliable test of English that more students are now opting for across many study destinations due to its reliability, accessibility, and faster results. Campus Direct is pleased to partner with Pearson in making PTE accessible to more students.”
Following the global pandemic, the UK began the Graduate Route initiative, hoping to welcome 600,000 international higher education students annually by 2030. This offers a two to three year secure-post study work visa permitting students to live and start a career in the UK after finishing their studies.
