People’s Bank provides solar power facilities to Solepura school

The People’s Bank’s ‘Mahajana Mehewara’ CSR drive completed another project to provide solar power electricity facilities to under-resourced schools together with Manusath Derana recently.

Under this novel concept which combines sustainability with education, solar panels along with an inverter system were provided to Solepura Primary Vidyalaya, Babare.

Solepura Primary Vidyalaya Principal H.W. Neela Pushpalatha, along with the staff of the school, and representatives of People’s Bank including Kurunegala Regional Manager Rohan Perera, Assistant Regional Manager Karuna Herath, Galgamuwa Branch Manager Chandani Rathnayake and bank staff and students.
