
People’s Bank in collaboration with International Finance Corporation (IFC) is working towards strengthening financial awareness and literacy of Micro, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) by coordinating a series of customer awareness programs.
The fourth and fifth programs of this series were held at Gampaha and Kalutara recently.
A selected team of Small and Medium-sized entrepreneurs in each district were invited for the program and the sessions were conducted on the topic of ‘Adjusting the Business Plan during the Crisis’.
The sessions were facilitated by Master of Training for IFC Lalinda Wickramarathne.
Regional Manager, Gampaha, G. R. S. Kodagoda, Regional Manager, Kalutara, Dulani Buddika, senior managers of Regional Credit Units (RCUs) and officials of the regional head offices were present.
International Finance Corporation, a member of the World Bank group, is working closely with the People’s Bank to develop entrepreneurship among MSMEs via training and capacity building.
