The Chartered Institute of Personnel Management (CIPM), signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Swiss Hospitality Management Academy (Pvt) Ltd (SHMA) recently at the CIPM Member’s lounge, marking a significant collaboration between the two institutions.
Under this MoU, CIPM will conduct a HRM program catering to the hotel industry’s specific requirements. Concurrently, CIPM and SHMA will offer a Diploma in Hospitality Management, which will equip professionals with the knowledge and skills to manage human resources and operations in the hospitality industry effectively.
This collaboration between CIPM and SHMA will result in mutual benefits, including enhanced professional development opportunities, increased networking, and improved understanding of the two fields. In addition, through this partnership, professionals in both fields can exchange insights, best practices, and techniques, leading to innovation and improvement in both areas.
The MoU is expected to lead to the development of specialised programs that cater to the specific needs of the hospitality industry. These programs will undoubtedly equip professionals with the necessary knowledge and skills to manage human resources and operations effectively, ultimately contributing to the growth and success of the industry.
