Forbes, a global media company, has picked Sri Lanka along with 22 other countries as ‘best places to travel around the World’ in 2023.
“There’s no denying that travel is back in 2023, thanks to a pent-up demand for all those vacations that were put on hold during the pandemic. But what are the best international places to visit? What are the top travel destinations around the world?” says Forbes.
Sri Lanka is placed second after Japan to travel in Asia and the other four destinations in Asia are Malaysia, Hong Kong, Indian and Vietnam.
“Sri Lanka has plenty of interesting cultural attractions to explore, including the ancient cities of Anuradhapura and Kandy…” Forbes said.
