Sri Lanka Insurance – the national insurer entered into a strategic partnership with Senaro Motor Company Private Ltd. to provide a comprehensive motor insurance cover for customers purchasing a Senaro GN125 motorcycle.
The signing of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) took place at Cinnamon Lakeside, recently. Director Operations, Mohan Somachandra, Managing Director, Senaro Motor Company, Roshana Waduge, CEO Chandana L. Aluthgama and Head of Distribution, General Insurance of Sri Lanka Insurance, Lalith de Silva were present.
The tie-up between the two organisations will facilitate a free comprehensive motor insurance solution for all customers of motorcycle for one year.
The GN125 motorcycle is assembled in Sri Lanka with a local value addition of up to 35%. As a responsible business and the national insurer, SLIC’s responsibility doesn’t end at protecting only the people if this country, but also contributing to the growth of the economy of the country by supporting the improvement of local industries. This collaboration is an endorsement of SLIC’s commitment to grow as a business community whilst being the national insurer, a SLIC spokesman said.
