
The Annual Awards for 2021-2022 of the Sadhaharitha Group was held at Eagles Lakeside, Attidiya, Dehiwala recently.
The Chairman of Sadaharitha Sathis Navaratne, over 650 staff members, and senior management were present.
Over 150 cash prizes including gold, silver and bronze awards being presented to those who have served the company in an exemplary manner.
This event was organised by Sadaharitha Plantations Ltd, which has gained recognition as a complete Sri Lankan company that provides green investment opportunities with excellent returns. The awards ceremony this year was held under the theme ‘Forestry Award 2022- Redefining Resilience’, which reflected the company’s stability and resilience.
During the event, the company appreciated and recognised the performance, efforts, service, hard work, and dedication of its staff members. The awards included overseas trips, cash prizes and certificates. The awards were presented to the staff attached to the marketing division who had excelled in the years 2021/22. Seven special awards were also presented in the ‘Most Outstanding’ category for those who have outshined others in the marketing division.
Chairman Sathis Navaratne said, “I am repeatedly amazed by the quality of work and enthusiasm shown by our employees. We have managed to achieve our targets and have shown exemplary performances even at a time when our country’s economy is in crisis.

We have nearly 1,300 members in our staff. This is a great way to recognise and thank every one of them.” Three customers who completed 20 years with the mahogany green investment of the company were presented with valuable benefits. The strong foundation on which Sadaharitha’s steady growth was built, has been strengthened further by the trust placed on the company by over 35,000 customers. Last year Agawood investors were presented cash benefits.
