People’s Leasing contributed to the installation of waste segregation bins at the Gal Vihara, Polonnaruwa in collaboration with Central Cultural Fund and Department of Archeology under the guidance of Chief Incumbent of the Gal Vihara, as an environmental conservation initiative.
The main objective of this initiative is to streamline the waste management process and assisting in achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. Manager, Marketing, Communication and Sustainability of People’s Leasing, Hishan Welmilla, Branch Manager Nalaka Suresh, Second officer of People’s Leasing, Polonnaruwa branch, Chammika Jayamantha, Chief Supervisor, Central Cultural Fund, Polonnaruwa, Thissa Bandara, Regional Officer, Department of Archaeology, Malinda Nishan and Public Health Inspector in Polonnaruwa, Chudath Balachandra were also present.
