Cargills Food City ‘Supermarket Brand of the Year’

Cargills Food City was recognized as the most loved supermarket brand of the year, with the theme of the awards ceremony “Heart Share” paying close attention to the importance of creating an emotional bond with the Sri Lankan people.

Cargills Food City is Sri Lanka’s leading supermarket and the only private retailer to have a presence across all 25 districts of the country. Built on a foundation of creating value, Cargills Food City has continued to build markets across the country for local farmers and SMEs while investing in reducing the cost of living for consumers by offering ‘Higher Value for the Lowest Price’ across its retail chain.

The 16th edition of the awards was organized by the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM). The event was held at the Monarch Imperial recently.

The SLIM-KANTAR People’s Awards recognises the most loved brands, personalities, and programmes in Sri Lanka.
