Ceylon Chamber webinar on ‘Cybercrime Prevention’

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce with Microsoft will conduct a webinar on ‘The Realities and Prevention of Cybercrime in a Business World’ on  February 23.

The most disruptive threat in the current context of the business world, the potentially devastating impact of cybercrime continues to be underrated by business leaders and decision makers in organisations, particularly in the South East Asian region.

The increasing frequency of cyber attacks and cyber fraud and the consequences on financial infrastructure is limitless, and requires awareness and risk mitigation initiatives.

Conducted by national and international experts in the cyber security domains will lead discussions on cybercrime from a local context, the realities of cybercrime and recommended prevention methods, and the introduction of cyber security assessment tools.

The panel comprises Cybersecurity advisor and consultant, Asela Waidyalankara, -   APAC Cybersecurity Lead, Microsoft (Pvt) Ltd, Hee Teck Tan and CEO and Founder of QS Solutions, Paul Doles, with the session moderated by Volunteer Chief Learning Officer, Microsoft Southeast Asia Emerging Markets, Ashiq Niyaz.

The webinar will be conducted on Wednesday, February 23 from 4-5 pm via Microsoft Teams.
