NCE turns 30

The National Chamber of Exporters of Sri Lanka will celebrate its 30th anniversary on December 2 at Hotel Shangri-La, Colombo.

The chamber concluded its Annual Export Awards for the 29th consecutive year, celebrating the best performance of Sri Lankan Exporters at Hotel Shangri-La, Colombo recently.

The event was organised on the theme ‘Rise, Rebuild and Regain’ in recognising and rewarding the Sri Lankan exporters of products and services and also service providers to exporters, on their performance in the International Market Place. NCE by recognising the best performers in exports have immensely contributed towards creating a positive mindset and uplifting spiritsoffellowexportersofthisnation.

The awards ceremony has been organised by the NCE amid  numerous challenges during this difficult period and yet was able to the high standards synonymous with this prestigious event whilst adhering to the stipulated health and safety guidelines 

The Chamber introduced the ‘NCE Challenge Trophy’ during the 29th event and will continue to award exporters who perform ethical trading practices, and also all the other special awards under four main categories. According to officials, the NCE will announce the date of application launch in due course.

The Chamber has also introduced the Award Winners Icons of Gold, Silver and Bronze to highlight the success of the Award Winners locally and internationally. The winners at the NCE Export Awards have the opportunity to use the icon in all publicity and marketing materials of their respective organisation, to communicate their win to the existing and potential buyers.
