State-of-the-art suspended bridge

A ceremony to mark the joining of the two sections of the state-of-art, six-lane suspended bridge over the Kelani river was conducted under the patronage of Highways Minister Johnston Fernando recently, marking a milestone in the country’s bridges. The 380-metre long bridge will help ease traffic congestion in the Peliyagoda area.
