Ad agency Holmes Pollard & Stott (HP&S) has teamed up with digital media agency IKON, to provide total advertising solutions.
The partnership between them will see Ikon handling the digital media operations of HP&S. It also entails HP&S handling the ATL and BTL operations of Ikon.
“This is truly a win-win arrangement for both agencies. It will complement each other’s work and enable us to offer a greatly enhanced service to clients,” said HP&S Chairman Pradeep Amirthanayagam. He said that it is integral to their strategy of taking Sri Lankan advertising to a new era.
General Manager Manik Amirthanayagam said, “Our partnership with IKON will be another weapon in our armoury.” He said that Sri Lankan advertising needs to embrace evolving tech in the world of AI.
“We must reshape the way we do business to successfully take on the challenges of the future.
This will give brands more relevance while enabling them to communicate their stories more effectively,” he said.
Founder/CEO of Ikon, Dulinda Perera was also optimistic. He believed that the partnership will enable both parties to achieve their full potential and reach new heights. “We will be able to harness our synergies to push our brands to new territory,” he said. Today, HP&S has a strong portfolio of clients. The agency’s corporate culture has evolved with the infusion of new blood.
It manages brands from across the corporate spectrum, ranging from banking and finance, automobiles and healthcare to FMCG, personal care and construction. Among its clients are listed blue chip companies, a spokesman for HP&S said.
