Technology company Xiaomi entered the Sri Lankan market with the launch of a series of its products in move to expand its global footprint and make a mark in the local mobile telephone market.
“We are excited to bring Xiaomi to Sri Lanka for our Mi fans here. Sri Lanka’s smartphone market has expanded over the years, and we look forward to contribute to the local industry,” Agarwal said.
The company launched the Redmi Note 6 Pro, the first quad-camera smartphone, the Pocophone F1, Mi A2 Lite, Redmi S2, Redmi 6 and Redmi 6A for the local market.
Head of Overseas expansion Indian Subcontinent Xiaomi India Sanket Agarwal said the phone comprises a two-day battery that Redmi smartphones are known for and for the first time, brings an AI-Powered quad-camera experience to the segment.
Pocophone F1 features the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 platform with the industry-leading liquidcool technology cooling system and a long lasting 4000mAh battery.
