Acclivity Training has launched a seminar series ‘Essential Business Skills for Managers by Industry Experts’ with the first session on ‘Corporate Finance and Tax’.
A spokesperson from Acclivity Training said that the series is designed for middle level managers or executives aspiring to be managers, to give them the all-round knowledge of business skills required to be a manager.
The first session will be held on Thursday, September 27, at the Renuka City Hotel from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m.
This session will be led by Nandika Buddhipala, Chief Financial Officer of Commercial Bank and Duminda Hulangamuwa, Partner at Ernst and Young.
Participants will be able to learn and understand the fundamentals of Interpreting financial information and the principles of taxation; knowledge vital for non- finance managers to make effective day to day decisions.
The seminar series, in keeping with its objective of providing all round skills to managers, will continue with sessions on Big Data, Customers, Supply Chain, Human Capital, Technology, Cyber, Legal Aspects, Employment Regulations, Corporate Governance, Sri Lankan Economy, Banking and Capital Markets.
