European Chamber to host networking night

6 August, 2017

The European Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (ECCSL) will be hosting a European Networking Night on August 22 at Hotel Hilton Colombo from 6.30 pm to 8 pm.

The Chief Guest will be Jorn Rohde, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany in Sri Lanka. Rohde will speak on Sri Lanka–German bilateral relations and on the future prospects for the Sri Lankan economy.

This networking event would provide an opportunity for local businessmen to network with the other high profile participants and invitees from the business world and from the diplomatic community.

The ECCSL has an exclusive mandate to promote trade and investment opportunities between Sri Lanka and 28 European Union member countries and works closely with the Delegation of the European Union to Sri Lanka.

As a premier business chamber, the ECCSL helps members and non-members to network with other businesses and maximize business opportunities. The ECCSL also organizes outbound and inbound trade delegations and assists in business linkages and business matchmaking.

ECCSL has several Market Access Teams (MAT) / Lobby groups for Travel & Tourism, Transport & Logistics, and Power & Energy. MAT’s / Lobby groups are being created for the Infrastructure, IT/BPO, Marine & Offshore Construction and Agriculture and Heath Care sectors. The previous such events enjoyed a large number of participants. The event is open for both members of the ECCSL and non–members.
