DHL Express introduced a new cashless payment service in collaboration with Hatton National Bank (HNB). Powered by HNB’s state-of-the-art cash management solutions, this service will bring convenience to a whole new level for DHL customers.

DHL is the latest organization to join HNB’s e-banking platform as a payee partner, and sign up for HNB’s modern Point-of-Sale (POS) solution — known as MOMO. The solution frees customers from cash transactions, reducing time spent on queues and inefficient checkout procedures.

Country Manager, DHL Express Sri Lanka, Dimithri Perera said, “We are pleased to partner HNB in offering cashless payment solutions to our customers. We hope that the additional option will provide our customers with the convenience and flexibility they desire as our society rapidly moves towards embracing cashless transactions.”

“This latest move underscores our commitment to live up to the DHL brand promise of ‘Excellence, Simply Delivered’, by providing unparalleled logistics services to our customers,” he said. Head of Cards of HNB, Roshantha Jayatunge said, “Our research has revealed a sizeable demand for cashless payments, as evidenced by the large majority of the Sri Lankan population that now owns either a debit or credit card.
