
EW Information Systems Ltd (EWIS), celebrating 30 years in the IT industry, and Learning Possibilities Ltd, a Microsoft Global Alliance Partner, have signed an agreement to roll out the fully featured Learning Management System (LMS) LP+365, on their devices via Microsoft Office 365.
The roll-out was announced at a media conference attended by Sagala Ratnayaka - Minister of Law and Order and the Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff, Sanjeewa Wickramanayake - Chairman EWIS, Dr. Mehool Sanghrajka - CEO Learning Possibilities, Rani Burchmore - Education Partner Director Asia-Pacific Region, Microsoft, Brian Kealey - Microsoft Country Director for Sri Lanka and Maldives, Hasitha Dela - CEO Headstart and Mohamed Fawaz - CEO Global Tutors. Minister Ratnayaka said, “It’s been over 25 years since I left school and learning and teaching is very different now. It is vital that students are kept busy, happy and encouraged to study harder through digitally exciting ways. I hope that these apps and efforts will encourage them to be prepared for their future.” Sanjeewa Wickramanayake, Chairman EWIS said, “We believe that this partnership will be of great value to students and educators, alike. Technology in education is so important now that we hope this platform will support and drive our next generation into digitalization.”
Dr. Mehool Sanghrajka, CEO Learning Possibilities, said, “Our global partnership with Microsoft will mean that schools in various Asia Pacific markets will be able to use LP+365 with Office 365 to enhance the teaching and learning experience.”
