
Uva Expo 2016 ‘Endless Inspiration’- Badulla – Trade Fair, Exhibition and Carnival will be held from December 28 to January 1 at the Library complex and football grounds, Badulla.
It is being organised by the Chief Minister of Uva Province, Chamara Sampath Dasanayake and the Ministry of Finance and Planning, Law and Order, Education, Local Government, Power and Energy, Construction and Rural Infrastructure Development of the Province.
The five-day mega exhibition will be a great opportunity for the people in Uva province to gain a new experience and uplift their social, economical and cultural background, an organiser said.
The event hopes to attract many local and foreign trade partners and expects to draw about 20,000 to 25,000 people daily. The exhibition will provide a platform to over 30 categories of trade producers and also consists of various items organized by the Sri Lanka tri forces, Police, Prison as well as entertainment and music by popular bands. This event is managed by West Ventures Lanka (Pvt) Ltd and supported by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority, the Chamber of Commerce and Industries in the Uva province and the Assistant High Commission of India in Kandy.
