
A&E Lanka, a part of an international thread solutions provider, won the ‘Best work place safety innovation award’ at the South Asian Partnership Summit and Business Awards (SAPS) hosted by the World HRD Congress and endorsed by Asian Confederation of Businesses and a bronze award at the National Occupational Safety and Health Excellence (NOSHE), held on October 13 and 14 respectively.
NOSHE held once in two years is a national award considered to have a rigorous, stringent audit process and is an initiative by the National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH), Ministry of Labour and Trade Union Relations with the Department of Labour.
Likewise SAPS recognized and awarded outstanding organizations and leaders in the region with a goal to provide a forum to establish standards of excellence for quality development and this event was attended by many senior business leaders and officials.
