Property portal, Lamudi Lanka (Pvt) Ltd held its second real estate expo in Sri Lanka at the Taj Samudra on September 23 and 24. With many of the country’s top real estate companies on board, Lamudi provided visitors an unforgettable experience during the convention, the organisers said.
Exhibitors included Aitken Spence, Walkers CML Properties, Capital Trust, Prime Lands, Regal properties, The Flemington, and Ceylon Investment Group. All of these exhibitors showcased their latest projects. Lamudi’s official telecommunication partner, Etisalat, presented its various packages. Commercial Bank and Standard Chartered Bank joined Lamudi to provide property seekers and buyers with home loan information and advice on mortgages. Residential and commercial property seekers were offered a personalised service.
ICC, Dynasty, Glorious Residencies and Blue Ocean also contributed to the success of the event. Iconic residential tower, Altair attracted many due to its unique design and luxurious facilities. Dusit Thani also presented its luxury apartments to potential investors. Meanwhile, Havelock City displayed their impressively designed Phase 3 towers, Melford and Stratford. Visitors were provided with the golden opportunity to explore these projects in the form of a 3D model. The success of Lamudi’s second Real Estate Expo and feedback from exhibitors and visitors proved that Sri Lanka’s real estate industry has great potential. This event has shown that many Sri Lankans, foreign residents, and local expats are showing a keen interest in the country’s real estate. Lamudi hopes to host similar events in the future to continue contributing to Sri Lanka’s real estate boom, a company spokesman said.
