Admo Solar signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Hatton National Bank to develop the renewable energy sector. The MoU was signed by Marketing Manager, Admo Solar, Rumesh Jayasekara and Head of Personal Financial Services, HNB, Viraj Mendis.
Marketing Manager, Jayasekara said, “Admo Solar’s partnership with HNB is a significant joint effort towards actualizing the Government’s mission of creating 200 Mw of electricity and the powering of one million houses through the latest Solar Net Accounting System.”
“Admo Solar is fully committed to play the role of a catalyst and work towards unlocking innovative mechanisms for Renewable Energy propagation and this MoU will strengthen our efforts towards meeting our goal of fulfilling the government’s vision,” he said.
“This MoU and partnership with HNB will further cement our efforts towards ensuring that Sri Lanka addresses its power needs in a sustainable fashion.
Admo Solar strives to set an industry benchmark towards creating a sustainable ecosystem and serve our customers, clients, employees and communities better,” Jayasekera said.
The MoU will be a boost to green energy financing and enable a close partnership between both institutions to create a framework for funding the bank’s loyal customer base.
