Great Expectations is a novel written by the famous author Charles Dickens. This book was first published in 1861. The main character in the novel is Pip. Pip is an orphaned boy who lives with his sister and brother-in-law. The novel tells us about how Pip lives his life and his journey to adulthood. It is believed that the story is very similar to Dickens’s childhood experiences. This novel is very interesting and we can learn a good moral lesson from this story.
