The students of Yasodara Maha Vidyalaya, Malabe celebrated the Sinhala and Tamil New Year-Yasodara Wasantha Udanaya at the school premises recently.
This colourful event was organised under the patronage of the Principal, H. Chandrika Silva, Damayanthi Rathnayake, Sewwandi Umanga, Kaumathi Perera and the teachers.
Sewwandi Ranatunga was the chief guest.
Avurudu traditions, rituals games, dances and songs made the event entertaining and colourful.
