My favourite writer is J.K Rowling. She is a British female writer. I have read many books by her. She is the author of the Harry Potter books. 
My favourite book by her is Harry Potter and the half- blood prince. It is a beautiful book, written by J.K Rowling. The Harry Potter series by J. K. Rowling has sold over 500 million copies and has been translated into 80 languages. Her books are for all ages and they are brilliant. Her stories are so adventurous and enjoyable. I want to be a writer like her one day.
