Continued from last week
Snow White lived very happily with the dwarfs who were very kind to her.
She kept house for the little men and cooked for them. When the dwarfs came home, they helped her with the household chores.
Her wicked step mother, the queen did not go the magic mirror for a while. Then, one day she wanted to find out who was the fairest and went to the mirror and asked:
“Mirror, mirror on the wall
Who is the fairest of them all” ?
“Snow White is the fairest of them all “.
The queen was really furious and decided to kill Snow White. She again disguised herself. She was a vendor of apples this time.
A poisoned apple 
When the wicked Queen reached the cottage in the forest Snow White was busy with household chores. She had left the front door slightly ajar. Suddenly, Snow White saw a woman at the door. The woman called out “A beautiful apple for a beautiful girl”.
Snow White found the apple so tempting that she forgot all the advice the dwarfs had given her. The woman gave Snow White an apple and quickly scuttled away. Snow White bit into the apple and fell into a dead faint as the shiny apple was poisoned.
When the dwarfs came home, they were sad and horrified to find the unconscious Snow White. They did everything they could to wake her up but nothing worked. Poor Snow White remained unconscious.
A glass coffin
After a while, the dwarfs built a beautiful glass coffin and placed Snow White in it. She looked as if she was fast asleep. The heart-broken dwarfs carried Snow White to a beautiful hillside and left her there.
Time passed. One day, a handsome prince from a neighbouring kingdom came riding by. Seeing the glass coffin, he was filled with curiosity and dismounted from his horse to see what it was.
When the prince saw the beautiful Snow White inside it he fell in love with her at once. He opened the lid of the glass coffin and gently kissed the beautiful girl.
But the kiss woke Snow White and when she saw the handsome prince she too fell in love with him.
“Will you marry me”? asked the prince.
“Yes, replied Snow -white.
The dwarfs were overjoyed to have Snow White back.
A grand wedding
Soon, the Prince and Snow White were married in a grand
ceremony. People came from miles around to see the happy couple.
The wicked queen came
too and when she saw Snow White her anger and jealousy was so great that she could not bear it.
She ran away in a frenzy and was never heard of again.
Snow White, the prince and the seven dwarfs lived happily together ever after.
