My tuition teacher

21 May, 2017

The Tamil language is difficult for me, so we arranged a tuition master to come home. He comes every Wednesday at about six in the evening. He is very jolly, but when we don’t do our homework he’s strict. He teaches my small cousin brother handicrafts and art techniques. He is very kind and nice to us.

One day when ‘Sir’ came to teach us it was 6.30 in the evening, and after the lessons were over it started to rain ‘cats and dogs.’ Sir could not go home because he had to go by bus. While he was chatting with my grandmother, there was a power failure and we ran into the hall.

When the rain ceased, Sir asked for a bag and said, “I have only one pair of shoes, so if this gets wet, I can’t wear it tomorrow.” He went home barefooted. He comes for classes well dressed, and I didn’t know that he had these problems to face in life. My lesson from this is not to waste money. And I will help my parents save their money.
