My name is Mariyam and I study in Grade Six at Al-Manar National School, Handessa. My aim is to be a teacher. I study hard to achieve my dream. After I become a teacher, I will help my students by teaching my students good manners and behaviour which will help them become good citizens. I will help my students achieve good grades in examinations. I will be a kind teacher to all my students. I pray my dream becomes a reality.
Call it what you may, everyone dreams of being someone or doing something different when they grow up. Some dream of being astronauts, rocket scientists, space explorers… Some dream of being clowns, comedians and running away to a circus. Still others wish to be lawyers, doctors, cricketers or superstars.
The sky, as they say, is the limit to your dreams… But what’s the fun if you keep it all to yourself?
