 Sinharaja is a national heritage. It is a big forest. It is a world heritage site. It is in the Ratnapura district. It has fauna and flora. There are many species of animals, and among them there are endemic animals. For example, deer and giant squirrels. There are also many species of birds. Sinharaja forest is full of endemic vegetation. There are large trees as well as small plants. It is famous for its Orchids. Sinharaja is a resource for all of us and it is also a tourist attraction. It is our responsibility to protect this valuable rain forest.
