Sri Lanka is my country. It is an island in the Indian Ocean. Sri Jayewardenepura is the capital of Sri Lanka. It has a land area of 65610 square kilometres.(km2)
People of many religions live in my country. There are religions such as Christianity, Islam, Hinduism and Buddhism. My country’s national flag has a lion holding a sword in its paw. The lion is on a red background with four Bo leaves at the corners.
The rupee is the currency of my country.Among the major tourist attractions of my country are Sigiriya, Adam’s Peak and Mihinthalaya. My country is an agricultural country. It is beautiful and clean.
