One of the novels I like most is Little Women by the author Louisa May Alcott. It was first published in 1868 by Roberts Brothers. The main characters in the story are Meg, Jo, Beth and Amy March. Their father is away at war and they have hard times. However, they learn many important lessons in life and they live happily despite all their struggles. They form a literary society which meets every Saturday. Eventually their father returns, and the little cottage is again filled with laughter and happiness. I like this book because it is an adventurous and delightful story. I feel inspired while I read it because it takes me to their cottage.
