What do I call the Asian Pearl
Of course, my country is the Asian Pearl
Why do I call it the Asian Pearl
Cuz its beauty is the same as a pearl
The Lankan Pearl might be small
But it gives resource more than a stall
Due to that we became thralls
But we got our freedom through a brawl
Green is the colour Sri Lankans bleed
Cuz green is the colour of the nature’s seed
Nature is what always leads
Especially in our country, I hope you agree
Mountains, beaches, and all the places
Speak of the beauty and also the grace
Brings more colour with various races
And the smile on people’s faces.
