A rainy night

I used to love starry nights,
But not today,
For it is a rainy night,
And it is the truth I say,
I wish it would stop,
I wish it would leave,
Without a drop,
For it is x'mas eve,
I should not be negative
Not at all,
I should be positive,
But I can't play ball,
I like the cool feeling,
Of the hard winds blowing,
And I am happy that,
No one can be stealing,
Now I know that rainy days,
Are not bad,
As only, the truth I say,
Now I know to never be sad.
