That’s the day we went on a trip. Last December we went to Jaffna. I have been there twice before. It is an interesting and beautiful place in Sri Lanka. We went there by train. We saw many interesting scenes while we were travelling.
First we visited Elephant Pass. From there, we went to Sangupitiya Bridge, Nallur Kovil, Kandurugoda Viharaya and the Public Library in Jaffna.
The next day we went to Nagadeepa Viharaya and the Amman Kovil by boat and also to Jaffna Fort. After that we went to another attractive place. It’s the Rio Ice-Cream parlour. We paid a small amount but ate a lot of ice-cream.
We saw many cultivated lands. They have cultivated vegetables such as carrots, onions and fruits such as mangoes and grapes. In the evening we returned. It was an interesting journey. It’s an unforgettable trip in my life.
