The British School in Colombo (BSC) celebrated the Sinhala and Tamil New Year with a series of cultural events and traditional Avurudu games.
The Sinhala and Tamil New Year is a significant event for the school as the entire BSC community, which is made up of over 50 nationalities, joined hands to celebrate this event as one big family.
The event featured traditional song and dance performances from the Junior and Senior schools. Teachers and students joined to celebrate Avurudu in the traditional way.
