The third tallest tower is the Tokyo Sky Tree. It is in Japan. It is 2,080 feet in height and the construction was completed in 2012. This is one of the tallest free-standing towers. The structure is earthquake resistant, due to the presence of an integrated mass damper to reduce structural vibrations.

The second place among the tallest towers goes to the Merdeka 118. It is in Malaysia and has a height of 2,227 feet. Its construction is 95 percent complete now. It has 83 floors. The tower is a mixed-use structure that consists of a shopping complex, offices, hotels and observation decks.
